Have A Throne Attitude — Rest Until God Makes Your Enemies Your Footstool

First Service of 24 February 2008 preached by Pastor Prince on Having a Throne Mentality (Psalm 110)

Laying on hands – according to EW Kenyon (?) – is more for the World rather than Christians. James 5:14 talks about calling for the elders but the book of James is written to the 12 tribes of Israel.

E&Y will in its report to the Commissioner of Charities say that there is no major finding. In fact the lady senior partner in E&Y wants to recommend some of NCC practices to other churches.

Kingdom of GOD is very big yet not compromising. Therefore, we can expect BIG churches that are good and Godly and which cannot compromise.

The message that follows below will set us on course for 2008

Companies that have high quality control and serve community are those that prosper the most. JESUS serves.

If you remove the ‘love’ of money, you remove the ‘root’ of ALL evil. If you tithe with revelation you break the love of money.

A son works for good of the family. A servant or slaves works for his own gain. GOD wants sons not slaves or servants.

To be great, serve the most. To get more in life, give more. To be in front, be at the back.

PSALM 110 (YLT)

1 A Psalm of David. The affirmation of Jehovah to my Lord: `Sit at My right hand, Till I make thine enemies thy footstool.’ 2 The rod of thy strength doth Jehovah send from Zion, Rule in the midst of thine enemies. 3 Thy people [are] free-will gifts in the day of Thy strength, in the honours of holiness, From the womb, from the morning, Thou hast the dew of thy youth. 4 Jehovah hath sworn, and doth not repent, `Thou [art] a priest to the age, According to the order of Melchizedek.’

5 The Lord on thy right hand smote kings In the day of His anger. 6 He doth judge among the nations, He hath completed the carcases, Hath smitten the head over the mighty earth. 7 From a brook in the way he drinketh, Therefore he doth lift up the head

“… the LORD (YHWH) [Father] said to my lord (Adonai) [Jesus Christ] …”

This statement shows that a son (Jesus) can be greater than his ancestral ‘father’ (David). By same principle, Catholics are in error when they cannot believe that Mary (biological) mother is lesser than the Son (Jesus).

Matt 22 : 44

The LORD said unto my Lord, Sit thou on my right hand, till I make thine enemies thy footstool?

Mar 12:36

For David himself said by the Holy Ghost, The LORD said to my Lord, Sit thou on my right hand, till I make thine enemies thy footstool.

And David himself saith in the book of Psalms, The LORD said unto my Lord, Sit thou on my right hand,

1 Cor 15 states that last enemy is death

“For he must reign, till he hath put all enemies under his feet. The last enemy [that] shall be destroyed [is] death. For he hath put all things under his feet. But when he saith all things are put under [him, it is] manifest that he is excepted, which did put all things under him.”

Ephesians 1:22-23

“And he hath put all things under his feet and gave him to be head over all things to the church, which is his body the fulness of him that filleth all in all.”

Put under feet — is put under the footstool!

With every day, more and more of enemies put under Jesus feet until even death is taken away.

Foot is part of body of Christ because church is part of Christ body. Therefore foot rests victoriously on footstool!

HAVE a throne attitude that Jesus is at Right hand.

Jesus Christ is seated. He has conquered death and He is risen.
Putting under stool is to experience Victory!
SIT DOWN and expect FATHER to manifest the Victory!
Men thinks opposite – until money here, sickness departed then he rejoices and rests.
GOD wants you to rest until HE makes it manifest – puts enemies under foostool.
In the midst of your problems, God says REST.

RUTH 3:1 KJV

“Then Naomi her mother in law said unto her, My daughter, shall I not seek rest for thee, that it may be well with thee?”
World will say opposite – I shall seek well for you that you may rest.

DNA

Dna has a cap like a shoe lace has a cap to keep the lace in place. This cap is called a TELEMERES. When the cap is frayed, it allows disease to attack you and you age. You need a substance called TELOMERAE (?) to rebuild the cap. The cap is worn out through stress. You rebuild the cap by being restful and relaxed.

Hebrews (YLT)

7 Wherefore, (as the Holy Spirit saith, `To-day, if His voice ye may hear — 8 ye may not harden your hearts, as in the provocation, in the day of the temptation in the wilderness, 9 in which tempt Me did your fathers, they did prove Me, and saw My works forty years; 10 wherefore I was grieved with that generation, and said, Always do they go astray in heart, and these have not known My ways; 11 so I sware in My anger, If they shall enter into My rest — !’
In the original quote the word used instead of “my works” is: judgement!

REST = land for NT believers.

Do you really believe that there is a place where you can walk and rest even though there are enemies compassed around you?

There are 365 instances of “fear not” in the bible, one for each day of the year.

Heb 4:1-4 — Fear that you do not enter into Rest.

PRINCE says The ONE thing that God calls us to fear — that we enter not into rest, we don’t fear; BUT we fear the rest! As we a result, we don’t enter the rest!

2 spies said – look at the grapes – the intoxicating wine therein – speaks of rest!

John 5 – Now it is feast of Jews – no longer feast of the LORD!

Pool of Betheseda – Jesus said – TAKE UP YOUR BED (rest) – why not leave the bed behind? Taking up bed is a picture of rest! You take it up aggressively and you will rest! Miracle done in Sabbath when you cannot work as stipulated by religion.

V12 – Religion asked – Who is the man who said take up bed

They should have asked – Who healed you!

v 16 – imperfect tense in Greek

meaning it is customary of Jesus to heal and perform miracles in Sabbath

JOHN 5 – YLT

1 After these things there was a feast of the Jews, and Jesus went up to Jerusalem, 2 and there is in Jerusalem by the sheep-[gate] a pool that is called in Hebrew Bethesda, having five porches, 3 in these were lying a great multitude of the ailing, blind, lame, withered, waiting for the moving of the water, 4 for a messenger at a set time was going down in the pool, and was troubling the water, the first then having gone in after the troubling of the water, became whole of whatever sickness he was held. 5 and there was a certain man there being in ailment thirty and eight years, 6 him Jesus having seen lying, and having known that he is already a long time, he saith to him, `Dost thou wish to become whole?’ 7 The ailing man answered him, `Sir, I have no man, that, when the water may be troubled, he may put me into the pool, and while I am coming, another doth go down before me.’ 8 Jesus saith to him, `Rise, take up thy couch, and be walking;’ 9 and immediately the man became whole, and he took up his couch, and was walking, and it was a sabbath on that day, 10 the Jews then said to him that hath been healed, `It is a sabbath; it is not lawful to thee to take up the couch.’ 11 He answered them, `He who made me whole — that one said to me, Take up thy couch, and be walking;’ 12 they questioned him, then, `Who is the man who is saying to thee, Take up thy couch and be walking?’ 13 But he that was healed had not known who he is, for Jesus did move away, a multitude being in the place. 14 After these things, Jesus findeth him in the temple, and said to him, `Lo, thou hast become whole; sin no more, lest something worse may happen to thee.’ 15 The man went away, and told the Jews that it is Jesus who made him whole, 16 and because of this were the Jews persecuting Jesus, and seeking to kill him, because these things he was doing on a sabbath.

17 And Jesus answered them, `My Father till now doth work, and I work;’

Luke 13 – YLT
10 And he was teaching in one of the synagogues on the sabbath, 11 and lo, there was a woman having a spirit of infirmity eighteen years, and she was bowed together, and not able to bend back at all, 12 and Jesus having seen her, did call [her] near, and said to her, `Woman, thou hast been loosed from thy infirmity;’ 13 and he laid on her [his] hands, and presently she was set upright, and was glorifying God. 14 And the chief of the synagogue answering — much displeased that on the sabbath Jesus healed — said to the multitude, `Six days there are in which it behoveth [us] to be working; in these, then, coming, be healed, and not on the sabbath-day.’ 15 Then the Lord answered him and said, `Hypocrite, doth not each of you on the sabbath loose his ox or ass from the stall, and having led away, doth water [it]? 16 and this one, being a daughter of Abraham, whom the Adversary bound, lo, eighteen years, did it not behove to be loosed from this bond on the sabbath-day?’ 17 And he saying these things, all who were opposed to him were being ashamed, and all the multitude were rejoicing over all the glorious things that are being done by him.

Chief of synagogue — in response to the miracle — ought to work — he stressed

Jesus Christ — just be BEING a daughter of Abraham — healed

KARDESH BARNEA

Challenge to us like in Kardesh Barnea, can you be purpose to rest even in the midst of enemies.

GEN 4:7

If 0518 thou doest well 03190 , shalt thou not be accepted 07613? and if thou doest not well 03190 , sin 02403 lieth 07257 at the door 06607. And unto thee [shall be] his desire 08669, and thou shalt rule 04910 over him.
Sin should be translated — SIN OFFERING — here. God even brought the sin-offering lamb to Cain’s door. God is very practical.

God did not require blood to be sacrificed on mountain. He said put blood on doorpost. — Egypt passover.

In fact, this is brought out in ROM 10 (YLT)

1 Brethren, the pleasure indeed of my heart, and my supplication that [is] to God for Israel, is — for salvation; 2 for I bear them testimony that they have a zeal of God, but not according to knowledge, 3 for not knowing the righteousness of God, and their own righteousness seeking to establish, to the righteousness of God they did not submit. 4 For Christ is an end of law for righteousness to every one who is believing, 5 for Moses doth describe the righteousness that [is] of the law, that, `The man who did them shall live in them,’ 6 and the righteousness of faith doth thus speak: `Thou mayest not say in thine heart, Who shall go up to the heaven,’ that is, Christ to bring down? 7 or, `Who shall go down to the abyss,’ that is, Christ out of the dead to bring up. 8 But what doth it say? `Nigh thee is the saying — in thy mouth, and in thy heart:’ that is, the saying of the faith, that we preach; 9 that if thou mayest confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and mayest believe in thy heart that God did raise him out of the dead, thou shalt be saved, 10 for with the heart doth [one] believe to righteousness, and with the mouth is confession made to salvation; 11 for the Writing saith, `Every one who is believing on him shall not be ashamed,’

12 for there is no difference between Jew and Greek, for the same Lord of all [is] rich to all those calling upon Him, 13 for every one — whoever shall call upon the name of the Lord, he shall be saved.’ 14 How then shall they call upon [him] in whom they did not believe? and how shall they believe [on him] of whom they did not hear? and how shall they hear apart from one preaching? 15 and how shall they preach, if they may not be sent? according as it hath been written, `How beautiful the feet of those proclaiming good tidings of peace, of those proclaiming good tidings of the good things!’ 16 But they were not all obedient to the good tidings, for Isaiah saith, `Lord, who did give credence to our report?’ 17 so then the faith [is] by a report, and the report through a saying of God, 18 but I say, Did they not hear? yes, indeed — `to all the earth their voice went forth, and to the ends of the habitable world their sayings.’ 19 But I say, Did not Israel know? first Moses saith, `I will provoke you to jealousy by [that which is] not a nation; by an unintelligent nation I will anger you,’ 20 and Isaiah is very bold, and saith, `I was found by those not seeking Me; I became manifest to those not inquiring after Me;’ 21 and unto Israel He saith, `All the day I did stretch out My hands unto a people unbelieving and gainsaying.’

Salvation is in mouth! Just confess! GOD MAKES IT SO EASY!

BARREN SING!

Sing, O barren, thou [that] didst not bear; break forth into singing, and cry aloud, thou [that] didst not travail with child: for more [are] the children of the desolate than the children of the married wife, saith the LORD. — Isaiah 54:1

Enter into joy and jubilation NOW and praise and ACT like the feeling you would feel when the problem is manifestly defeated.

Anakin = Chain around neck or long-necked people. [Prince says: It is - Iron Chain around neck]

God wants to free you from the Anakin — the chains around your neck.

Joshua 11:21-22

And at that time 06256 came 0935 Joshua 03091, and cut off 03772 the Anakims 06062 from the mountains 02022, from Hebron 02275, from Debir 01688, from Anab 06024, and from all the mountains 02022 of Judah 03063, and from all the mountains 02022 of Israel 03478: Joshua 03091 destroyed them utterly 02763 with their cities 05892. There was none of the Anakims 06062 left 03498 in the land 0776 of the children 01121 of Israel 03478: only in Gaza 05804, in Gath 01661, and in Ashdod 0795, there remained 07604 .

JESUS said : Come unto me all of you who are heavy laden [makes one think that one is having an Anakin on neck] and I will give you rest.

Prince thinks that this is not simply a salvation verse but a verse for refreshing to the stressed.
