God’s Grace: The difference between blessing and cursing

GOD’S GRACE :
THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN BLESSING & CURSING

BLESSING

The Hebrew word for blessing is transliterated as, berakah.

בְּרָכָה

Reading from right to left, the first 2 letters when joined together are:

בְּרָ

Bar, which means, SON.

The next letter is

כָ

Kaph, which has the pictograph of the open hand, the OPEN HAND, used in giving.

ה

The final letter is :

Hei , which has the pictographic meaning of : God’s Grace.

Joining the 4 Hebrew letters constituting Blessing (berakah) we get:

The Son [Jesus] with His open hand gives GRACE

Contrast this with Qelahah.

Cursing

The Hebrew word for cursing is transliterated as, qelalah.

קְלָלָה

Reading from right to left.

The first letter is :

ק

Qoph , has the pictographic meaning of : BACK  OF THE HEAD

The next 2 letters are :

ל

Lamed, because it looks like an ox-goad has the pictographic meaning of : LEARNING

ה

The final letter is :

Hei , which has the pictographic meaning of : God’s Grace.

Collectively – the pictographic meanings of the 4 letters constituting “Cursing” in Hebrew [Qelalah]  - when joined together are :

To turn your head consistently [lamed x2 ] from learning grace

The posture that we have towards God’s Grace for us is thus vitally important. It is the key towards the blessed life.

Do not turn your head from God’s Grace ! Embrace the Son’s Open Hand giving blessings of Grace to you !
