[Editor: I was in Bali over the weekend.]

Hebrews 12:14-29
Make sure we dun fall from grace. When ppl fall short from God’s grace (the root of all problems), the person will end up getting v bitter in his/her heart n ended up yielding the fruits – fortification, etc..

Esau tried a lot of means n ways to change his father’s mind to give him blessings.

Galatians 5:4 (KJV)
Grace is greater than all our sins. Holiness is not abt how we look but it’s abt wat we understand abt mercy.

The things inside the ark of covenant are aaron’s rod (rebellion), the 2 tablets of stone (the law) n the pot of manna (man’s self effort).
On top of the ark is the mercy seat where grace is.. By looking into the ark, the ppl will fall in n be killed coz they hv fallen from grace, from mercy.

Juz like in dramas we watched that we always hear the common msg ‘have mercy!!’, whenever a person is begging for his life not to be killed.

Luke 15:28-32
Whenever a person opposed v strongly on some reactions, that person tends to hv a v strong problem in that area..

For e.g., when a person lies most of the time n someone else said that he/she has been lying, that person will tend to react v strongly against that someone who made that comment.

Gen 25:28
Nvr love a person becoz of his/her performance. Juz like issac who loved Esau becoz of his performance.

While rebekah loved Jacob regardless of his performance. Love a person as who he/she is and not by what he/she does.

Those who know that they r loved most by God will love most – likewise for those by how much they r forgiven.

Man presumed on his ability, his obedience, his performance – in bk of Exodus.

Why resolutions always fail?
Coz datz the time ppl fall from grace the moment we became self-conscious of our own performance.
