You will never find Paul in the NT confessing the sins of the people . Contrast this with OT where Daniel , David , Moses , stood in place for people confessing sins of people. This continued until John the Baptist time. In NT this practice stopped as we are all forgiven

On that foundation , we forgive others because we have been forgiven

In NT, Paul wrote everything we need for the present Christian life and he never once mentioned confession of sins. 1 John 1:9 is a verse which should be read in its context and don’t build doctrine on that one verse.

Paul says in NT that we are temples of God which is Holy and glorious. No sickness in temples of God ! Hallelujah !

James 5:17-18

At time of evening sacrifice (type of Jesus sacrifice) which is basis of our answered prayer, God answered Elijah’s prayer

In a church which is soaked in Grace, life should not revolve around children. Cannot allow them to be over indulgent. When puppy dies, should not replace puppy immediately because daddy is rich. Don’t have quick answer to bail them out. This will then be good for them in the fight of life. We don’t want kids to subconsciously think world revolves around them or else they will be in for a rude shock

Have boundaries . Don’t try to be so popular with kids that you lose them. Give and take. God called you to be parents not friend.

Pastor Daniel increased anointing to heal etc because he has consciousness that the Lord is at his right hand with him.

David said, ” I set the Lord at my right hand”

Deep calleth unto deep . Pastor noticed the increase of anointing in Daniel

Pastor Prince also practices that the Lord is with him at right and saw the Lord with him. Command and then step back for the Lord

Notice Jesus proclamations in NT : God calls this prayer of faith. Eg : woman , you are loosed ; fig tree be uprooted

You want more faith, you must covet it

God way is opposite . The way to fight is to rest And not fight at all

Grace is don’t try , just receive

Pray keeps us in our position as we are receiver and God is giver. Grace system.

Some people don’t pray because they under law – demand system. Don’t want to receive under grace from God

God gave you authority and power to us to change forces of earth or circumstances we do not like – bind or loose

Intense prayer is by speaking in consciousness that God is with you

“Be pulled up ” aorist imperative tense. Roots of mulberry tree – very strong root system , very hard to uproot in natural but simply speaking in Jesus authority will uproot it .

Pastor frequently says “be uprooted and be planted into sea” Luke 17:6

Why roots? As you don’t know the root cause but you want the root cause of whatever problem you are facing to be dealt with by Jesus

Speak to your condition and that it be plucked up by the roots and planted in the sea

If you have faith as that small mustard sea, you have faith to confound the mighty !

“say” is imperfect imperative : so it is not one time declaration. Repeated action. Keep on speaking to the condition !

” be pulled up ” – imperative aorist passive tense .

“planted ” – imperative aorist passive tense

Speak in a commanding tone

Why passive ? As you are not doing it, God is

The prayer of faith in James refers to the commanding prayer

Anagio – where we get energy in English – one Greek word translated as ‘effective fervent’ prayer

The commanding prayer in faith releases the energy of the Holy spirit

When you declare in faith , God calls that earnest prayer

You must know who you are talking to when you are praying

In God’s economy it is easier for God to work bigger miracles .

In loaves and fishes, just gave thanks to the father for the little. No long prayer

When Jesus resurrected Lazarus, also such a command, “come forth ,”

Pray earnestly is the prayer of faith by commanding forth in God’s authority

The problem is the devil and opposing forces and we are to speak to the problem

Pastor prayed this and a man who was about to bash a girl stopped and soon the couple reconciled and held hands

Some forces don’t obey until they are commanded.

Many places disciples were called disciples . Here they in Luke 17:5-6 are called apostles even before Cross. Why? God honors them as they wanted to learn to increase faith. This is mark of apostolic anointing

Why ? Those who in the natural are beautiful etc tend to trust in their own abilities and talents

God uses things that people look down on

when it comes to judgement, Elijah knew that if people worship other gods, judgment will come and no rain . Elijah more confident in judgment in calling fire than calling rain later. Judgment mentality . Elijah . And he was so confident in declaring in faith judgement

Law – tend to be jdment mentality

Elisha – god is saviour
Elijah – god is YHWH . Judgment mentality and he stayed solitaire

Elisha like jesus was among people and healing all
Lives in camps of people like Jericho and even with kings

No dew nor rain – Elijah – no favor no spirit for 3.5 years . See James

Time of evening sacrifice – 3 pm – when Elijah stepped forward at Carmel to call fire down . Jesus also died 3 pm

Fire did not fall on wicked ahab Jezebel or Israel but fell on unoffending bullock – type of Jesus !

Fire fell on jesus where it should have fallen on all of us – wicked humanity !

Jesus absorbed all judgment of God and still alive . He the sacrifice greater than judgement . In OT , the judgement was greater than sacrifice as fire burnt up the sacrifice and spread beyond it

Hannah non audible prayer was powerful and heard by God

Sarah prayer was also soft and honored husband , she believed and laughed in belief saying shall they have pleasure. God honored this and Isaac came forth

You command, God says ” I will do it”

Elijah commanded as he conscious of God whereas Ahab the real king was silent . Who is the real king ?

Nearly 80 years from Solomon to Elijah , there was no judgement even though Israel in idolatry until Elijah called for drought ( judgement ) and no rain or dew
God is so gracious and merciful

The drought only for 3.5 years then when Israel called out to God, God so merciful to forgive and rain came so quickly !
