In marriage, focus on loving wife not on position as head . Why ? Woman has innate ability to love. Woman has natural tendency to take leadership so God tells then to submit to husband
In all your exhortations, put Christ in them
Rom 6:14 . Many Christians do not seem to be moving in this verse
When people comes to Jesus with a need, he always meets the need
Contrast hypocritical religious folk, Jesus lets them have it when they approach him falsely
Tony Cammenetti (?) former Rhema Bible School in Sg says that if one does a
proper survey , Grace Churches have a lower incidence of sin
The main feature of law is demand
The chief feature of grace is supply
There is no commandment to pray in all the Law.
Why ? Because prayer puts God in position of giver and you as receiver. Grace !
Be supply conscious, and you become a strong Christian
Replace ‘grace’ with ‘supply’ and ‘law’ with ‘demand’ in Rom 6:14 to have a better understanding of the verse
Tell the child, you are a Jesus boy or girl so you don’t do such things .
You don’t add dog poo into delicious yummy food.
Rom 7:1-13
This marriage illustration appeals very much to Jewish people as Jewish people were married to Law at Sinai, so to speak
Rom 7:4 bear fruit to God – by marrying Jesus
Law only demands and cannot supply
Twin sister of law is condemnation. When demand cannot be met, condemnation flows.
Supply your spouse with kind generous words eg every time you walk upstairs you are losing weight
Faithfulness is a fruit of the spirit
Back to the marriage analogy in Rom 7, even Jesus supplies the death required to free herself from the first marriage to Mr. Law
Rom 7:5 : We WERE in the FLESH
Sinful passions aroused by the law ie demand
If holy spirit dwells in you , you are in spirit and not flesh

Rom 7:7 Serve in the newness of the spirit

When you see a beautiful woman, give praise to God that she is a beautiful creation of God . This removes the woman from being an object that is lusted after.
Rom 7:7-8 Sin combined with the Law is the problem .
Rom 7:7 replace covetousness with lust to help you understand the verse
Pastor prayed for God to lead him on what to eat and on that same day , his wife was introduced to a new set of foods and nutrition , which God confirmed to pastor independently , and this ‘diet’ helped Pastor lose a lot of weight
Rom 7:11 sin by ‘it’ – the law – killed Paul
Phil 3: We put no confidence in flesh
Resolutions are based on flesh .no wonder fails
Cycle of Sin:
Temptation leads to confidence in flesh (i can handle it) to sin (indulgence) leads to guilt (condemnation ) and back to temptation

Don’t condemn yourself . Bring in the Lord and receive no condemnation . That breaks the cycle
