Servers Camp was between 6-10 June. 8 June – Pentecost

Senior Pastor had a vision in which he saw the leaders in Ncc operating in the 9 gifts of the Spirit. He thus decided to make an appearance to preach at the Servers Camp .

In the past he would go on holiday in June as that would be school vacations.

The preaching at the Camp was amazing. Even the leaders started prophesying and giving words of knowledge.

Do everything relaxed.

Live, work, parent relaxed . Because Lord performing the actions.

Jesus will be centre where it will happen. Bible says where 2 or 3 gathered. No merely meeting. Gathered as unto Jesus.

Pastor had a spiritual vision that Ncc would become a healing centre.

A miracle occurs and it amazes everybody. Don’t worry about how it will happen. God won’t reveal how it will happen as He does not want you to worry about the logic behind it.

The Church is not a place for natural answers. It takes an instant for God! God will come strong in a short time. Don’t be afraid of God’s supernatural .

God compressed time in miracle of turning water to wine. That is first miracle and thus an example of miracles that follow. Precedent for every miracle

God compressed time into a capsule and we call that a miracle.

Savor every moment you have with family eg spouse and kids.

Soon kids grow up quickly

Pastor had a vision of the future of the new church venue and he saw some church meetings (not every one) where people coming up to front to microphones to report words of Knowledge. Eg: a person is healed etc

The in subsequent sessions, the confirmed healings will be reported and therefore people will be alerted to presence of God speaking as you know that God can at anytime ‘read’ your ‘mail’ or condition .

In the Word is the Power! You don’t have to do anything. You shall receive from God. No word from God is void of power.

Words that are spoken are not just about healings but for example for lost items.

“know them that labor amongst you” So operating in prophetic words first for leaders then only later servers.

Pastor will not correct to embarrass the person in public

If you receive the Word from Spirit to speak, you just speak. Don’t worry about it being logical or not.

Senior Pastor will arbitrate. Like Bible, he will allow 2 or 3 to speak words of wisdom or knowledge . He will then stop them and add or clarify the words spoken. He might say the last sentence spoken is not applicable.

Manifestation of gifts is for every man, scripture says. Not just for one.

Charismata is grace gift.

Charisma is favor which one receives from God without any merit of his own.

These would be the 9 gifts of the spirit. The one who is the least qualified can flow in the gifts.

All the more we are known for grace or Charis, we ought to be flowing in the grace gifts.

It is a grace gift so don’t abuse it. No merit of your own, so you cannot take credit when gift manifests.

Likewise, if no manifestation of healing etc if the person cannot be faulted as charismata is no merit of his own.

Because it is a gift of no merit of your own, some folks operate in the gifts and then people are surprised when he falls or immorality exposed. They don’t understand ! It was a gift not dependent on his own merit in the first place. It was gift of grace from God.

Grace based manifestation of the miracles. If more people realize this, more miracles , as disqualification qualifies them for Grace gifts

Prayer is not just throwing requests. It is worship. It is relationship. Talk to your Father.

1 Cor 12:1-9 Ignorant comes from Ignore. God does not want us to ignore the gifts.

Follow after love! Desire gifts. This is a more excellent way — to cultivate gifts.

Why does 1 Cor 12 open with NOW ? Because church has to understand and practice holy comm first before moving in 1 Cor 12 gifts 1 Cor 11 is holy communion.

Ncc has been faithful in practicing this so now to move into gifts – 1 Cor 12

1 Cor 12 – dumb . Idols dumb and Cannot talk. But our God talks through gifts

First 2 gifts in 1 Cor 12: word of wisdom and word of knowledge — God talks !

Senior Pastor calls out that people had gastritis in stomach areas , commands healing to be effected. He then calls out for those with pain in tail bone area. He prays for those with sharp pain in tail bone.

Healing is by grace and grace grace be upon them.

Charisma – 1 Cor 12:1 – spiritual gifts = charisma

1 Cor 12:3 : cursed also means devalued or esteem lightly. So grace gifts would be glorifying Jesus. No one can say Jesus cursed if operating in spirit

If manifestation is proclaiming Jesus as Lord and glorifying Jesus, the gifts operating is of God. And not of God if does esteem Jesus .

Sometime people mistake the operations as flowing from the minister and so pastor tends not to over do lest people mistake the gifts as stemming from him and distracts from the Glory of Jesus.

The healings just now was in part to stir Ncc leaders to operate in these spiritual gifts.

If we learn to receive the Charisma of God, it will help our business and families

1 Cor 12:4 — different kind of ministries. Eg some ministers, punch the people and then they get healed.

Diverse ministries and activities but same Triune God when gifts are flowing.

If the Charisma is genuinely there, people will be healed ! Pastor would ask then for the people to come forth to testify to confirm the operations of the Spirit.

Grace gifts are about imperfect people operating a perfect gift. So should not be afraid if you miss it if you call a condition by the Spirit and nobody comes forth.

Pastor described an isolated incident in the past when he was a overseas meeting in KL where he called out asthma but nobody responded. Later that night, the person having difficulty breathing passed away. So sometimes, it can be life and death.

All of us have challenges and weaknesses! But if God has a Word now, God wants you to respond and get into flow , and be bold, when the manifestation is flowing and receive the healing etc. If you meet the pastor later, the flow and manifestation would be gone by then and can only pray in faith.

Having said that, the incident never happened again. This is just a powerful illustration that sometimes it can be life and death matter. God is not the author of fear.

Likewise, if condition not called, do not come forth. This is not truthful. Do not abuse the manifestation. It is not honoring the flow of Spirit. God knows. Causes confusion sometimes .

1 Cor 12:7 – manifestation. Given for Profit for all – is one word in Gk – meaning mutual profit of everyone when gifts flow !

ISA: I am the Lord God who teaches you to profit

“Thus saith the LORD, thy Redeemer, the Holy One of Israel; I [am] the LORD thy God which teacheth thee to profit, which leadeth thee by the way [that] thou shouldest go. ” – Isaiah 48:17

1 Tim 4:15: Profit in your life when you meditate on ‘these things’ and people will see this profit

“Meditate upon these things; give thyself wholly to them; that thy profiting may appear to all.”  – ! Timothy 4:15

God wants us to profit in our dealings in life .

Vocal gifts:
- tongues,
- interpretation of gifts,
- and tongues.

Tongues is the only gift as you operate as you will. The other gifts operate as Spirit wills. When you pray in tongues you fire up the other gifts .

Knowing gifts
-Word of wisdom
-Word of knowledge
-Discerning of spirits

Power Gifts
- gift of faith
- gifts (plural) of healings
- working of miracles (plural)

Miracle : may not always be healings. Eg pray for tornado to stop

Gift of faith. Different from ordinary faith . That you know that know that God has healed etc eg pastor pulled person from crutches because this Faith stirred in him at that moment

“For to one is given by the Spirit the word of wisdom; to another the word of knowledge by the same Spirit”  – 1 Cor 12:8

The Greek word translated into English is in the Greek present tense not aoris tense. This implies that manifestation of the particular gift is not permanent or retained by the individual and is as the Holy Spirit wills .  It is also possible that another gift may manifest following the current one.

When you live in favor of God, gifts of miracles operate all the time.

Senior Pastor recounts how in driving to KL , he did pass through inspection gate and even though he had forgotten and misread his fuel gauge and failed to comply with law that fuel tank must be three quarter tank full when crossing border from Singapore to KL . This is example of everyday miracle gift of spirit

Every marriage is based on Grace as 2 imperfect people coming together word of knowledge : Given is present tense. You don’t keep it. Only for the operation of the gift for that now time.

Word . Not paragraphs. For protection and instruction and wisdom.

Pastor again recounts the shield ‘ insignia ‘ he experienced in turkey and 3 visions . God going to crown his people with protection and favor.

The 3 visions are examples of Word of wisdom as the 3 visions concerned the future.

Word of Knowledge is for Now. Present tense. Eg parents somehow know what kids are going through and they call them before they take course of action and thus avoid danger. Child knows it is God and not parent trying to control him as parent calls just at that precise time. The child feels loved as he knows God reads his mail.

Supernatural apostolic authority. Pastor recounts how he gave word to leaders to counsel a couple and they avoided further sin and they repented . They felt loved by God as they did not want to do this sin.

Jesus had Word of knowledge and he was able to tell woman that she had 5 husbands. Yet when Jesus does this and the way and the Spirit he does so. She is not ashamed Etc. She feels loved and says, I perceive you are a Prophet. Does not run away as she know Jesus loves her despite her failings.

People feel loved when despite you knowing them truly in natural, you are still love the person and you relate this to the person that he is loved . Being real.

Jesus sees us as we are, and He loves us. He knows his redeeming work for us.

1 Cor 12:8 God’s order of gifts. Not the way man organized the teaching of gifts.

Bible order: Word of wisdom then word of knowledge Word comes first. Then faith springs up. Then healings.

Teaching, preaching , healings. This is the order in the Gospels

Pharaoh had dream and he could not interpret. But Jo operating in God’s spirit was able to do so.

Gave the word of wisdom to Pharaoh : it is not in me but God and God will give you an answer of Shalom etc

Then Jo gave free advice to pharaoh to hire a good man to manage Egypt who has spirit of wisdom .

The more often , word of wisdom operates in person ‘s life, probably he is a new testament prophet: an office Pastor ministry has prophetic element in ministry.

Book of Revelation contains not just prophecy but Word of Wisdom.

Word of Wisdom is wisdom from God to do with the future.

Pastor’s earlier prophetic visions of the inversion of economic fortunes of certain nations, etc was also prophesy together with Word of Wisdom given.

1 Cor 12:28 : God appoints these offices. There is an order in the ordaining of offices

First: Apostle Apostle means someone who is sent by God. Someone sent with a message, whether to local or larger body. (you don’t go unless you are sent with a message)

Second, prophets.

Cor says our faith builds on apostles and prophets.

Third, teachers.

Miracles come after the teaching.

Gift of healings. No sometimes not just a gift but a ministry.

Helps. Also a ministry gift. Just as supernatural as prophets etc.

Tongues – varieties of. This is ministry. Not devotional tongue. Example, they can speak in perfect foreign language and the audience understands and there is interpretation !

Here context is ministry. Not all have ministry of healings or tongues or prophets. It is out of context to use this passage to say to no more healings, tongues, etc.

Ends with ‘more excellent way’ but better way to operate or manifest gifts Not meaning, love replace all gifts !

We see people operating in love and operating the gifts to touch people gracefully !

On the other hand, some don’t operate in love and gifts operated in uncouth or rude way.
