“THE ROOT CAUSE OF YOUR PROBLEM IS CONDEMNATION”

Pastor Prince did not preach in person today.

Past sermon starts.

He will love life and see good days. Days is plural. Evil day is short for believer.

Top leaders experienced season of evil days. All at same time.

Pastor for example was short with his wife.

How to get out of the evil day ?

If you marry someone with substance and spine, there will be quarrels. Fight hard then make up well.

There is power in fellowship. When you learn that fellow Believers go through same troubles you will not be isolated and you feel encouraged.

Demoniac from Gedahra was by himself in tombs.

One of devil tactics is to make you feel church is full of hypocrites .

Sickness , marital problems etc are just ‘fruit’ of the root of stress . The root of stress is FEAR. The root of fear is Condemnation. Deepest root is Condemnation.

Adam was planted in the midst of finished work. But fouled up.

Jesus prevailed in desert of temptation. The response to devil was always REST !

One temptation was to turn stone to bread . No law against this but it is sin to do this for Jesus to do this to prove He is son of God

The deeper of stress (working for harvest etc) and deeper root was fear. Adam was hiding in the bushes. Adam was fearful because he felt condemned . He felt condemned because he ate from Tree of Knowledge of Good and Evil.

1 Cor 15:56

The sting of death is sin. Strength of sin is Law .

When you think of Law think of condemnation

We have been focusing on the wrong thing. Remove the sting which is condemnation and law.

Paul was very sincere and devoted to keeping the Law . So this wrought the sinful desires. This was Paul’s experience before met Jesus.

(KJV) Romans 7:8 But sin, taking occasion by the commandment, wrought in me all manner of concupiscence. For without the law sin [was] dead.

The root is devil knocking you eg devil can say to you : no wonder your daughter don’t visit you , she don’t love you

Speak the receiver’s love language NOT yours . Eg if the person does not like suits, don’t buy him a suit as present

You have a heart of flesh so you can feel condemned

Rom 8:1 – the only place you find NO CONDEMNATION is in Christ !

That is the way out of condemnation .

Therefore no condemnation . This means utter impossibility in Greek. Martin Lloyd Jones the great expositor says.

Deu 23:12 – 13 (KJV)

The root word for cross is paddle .
God took all the mess that cometh from thee and buried them abroad

(KJV) Deuteronomy 23:12 Thou shalt have a place also without the camp, whither thou shalt go forth abroad:

Rom 8:1 is gateway to life of victory in spirit . 18 references to spirit in Rom 8.

(KJV) Romans 8:39 Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Rom 8 ends with no separation

Don’t do things out of condemnation . Example some parents give presents instead of their presence as they feel guilty.

Pastors ought to pastor as call on their life . They are people person and have the flow to preach and share and minister even after church service

Stop discussing situation and deal with problem – water it !

Man born blind – Jesus healed ! Not discuss whether his parents of blind man were at fault

Devil go for roots not peripherals. That is why Hebrew for Satan is attorney at law. He brings out your failings only. He condemns only.

No weapon formed against us will prosper. Context: the Law is the weapon .

Jesus nailed law on Jesus cross . This happened in spiritual realm. This is the disarming of Satan

(KJV) Colossians 2:14 Blotting out the handwriting of ordinances that was against us, which was contrary to us, and took it out of the way, nailing it to his cross;

(KJV) Colossians 2:15 [And] having spoiled principalities and powers, he made a shew of them openly, triumphing over them in it.

Main function of Jesus blood. – Forgiveness of Sin.

You are going through the trial as God preparing you for something big in future.

Evil day for season. Joy in morning.

It shall come to pass.

When you have eased yourself abroad.

Rev 12:10 – 11

(KJV) Revelation 12:10 And I heard a loud voice saying in heaven, Now is come salvation, and strength, and the kingdom of our God, and the power of his Christ: for the accuser of our brethren is cast down, which accused them before our God day and night.

(KJV) Revelation 12:11 And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death.

For or because the accuser of the brethren has been cast down

Don’t do job of devil

The moment accuser has no power in your life,

Look at the blessings that come on your life ! “salvation, strength … “

Many angry people are guilty people . Sometimes they are angry and they release on you as you are nearest person so don’t respond in kind.

Devil uses condemnation as very subtle . Cannot be detected . Fear and stress can be felt.

That Rom 8:1 must always be your meditation !

Devil cannot make you sick APART from condemnation .

Devil has no other weapon except condemnation even in a mega church preaching radical grace.

Sometimes you need men to help you . Friends lowered man to Jesus. Jesus said , your sins are forgiven you . Then later, rise take up your bed.

Once you realise no condemnation you continue to walk with God and loving fellow men.

Jesus came that you might have fun.

Life includes fun.

‘Pleasures forevermore’ include fun.

‘Yoke is easy ‘ include fun.

If you cannot submit to leaders, how can you submit to God

If you fast like religious leaders you ‘disfigure your face’

When you fast shampoo yourself and don’t appear as fasting . Don’t lose your reward.

Peter so free of condemnation that he can be used of God . He could preach so freely thus : you have denied the holy one of God and people pricked in their conscience .

Be like Kathryn Kuhlman who responded that ‘that is not the Kathryn I know’ when accused of her past living with married man after she had repented.

For us too, response to accusation should be “no more” as far as Jesus is concerned I don’t have that sin any more !
