STEP IN JESUS’ SUPPLY DAILY
Wherever it is the Gospel meets the total needs of humanity .
Every lack of growth or where there is a real failure or downfall has something to do with a lack of knowledge of Jesus.
Nothing in Jesus preponderates . He is like fine flour. All even and balanced . When he is kind, he is not walked over by others . When he is firm, he is now overbearing etc . Fully God, fully man.
God wants you to enjoy heaven on the way to heaven
True education is to know the Lord
Every time we come to church it behooves us to see Jesus , and as we behold we are transformed
During ww2 when UK was being blitzed by German bombers, they prayed and many saved from the carnage . In Russia, weather changed to foul weather when they prayed and slowed German advance into Russia. Praying folks !
The Bible – portraits of Jesus
David was being wandering around in desert and distressed flocked to him, and he found his bride in dessert — typifies Jesus
David was welcomed by Judah and crowned king . Jesus will be welcomed back by Jews and they will acknowledge him as Messiah.
Psalm 65:11 this verse for those who are believers in Christ
Just like Noah saved IN the ark . There was a upper window for him to look up to the heavens , but no side windows to look around at the world sinking in flood of disaster
Jesus always met evil as a conquerer and evil and sickness flees
Usually slaves don’t eat well and are not in good state to travel deserts but Israel came out of Egypt strong and wealthy because they partook of roasted lamb , a pix of Holy Communion , taken to remember Jesus
Exodus 20 : first time 10 commandments given to Israel
24 “‘Make an altar of earth for me and sacrifice on it your burnt offerings and fellowship offerings, your sheep and goats and your cattle. Wherever I cause my name to be honored, I will come to you and bless you. 25 If you make an altar of stones for me, do not build it with dressed stones, for you will defile it if you use a tool on it. 26 And do not go up to my altar on steps, or your private parts may be exposed.’
At end of exodus 20 – make an altar of earth , every place ” I will come and bless ” — notice no where in 10 commandments did God bless
Altar means you have failed and God has prepared for this, for you !
If made of stone – no hewn stone and no steps – no human effort ! Nor how blameless your walk is
God knew that folks will fail that he said : make an altar
God gave 10 commandments so everybody is guilty before God and every tongue stopped – thus seeing the need for Jesus and receive his mercy and grace
10 commandments is but a mere mirror . It does not save.
Law in essence is demand and if one fails , law cannot but condemn. Curses you when you cannot keep it.
In essence Grace is supply , and cannot but bless you.
The Hebrews actually presumptuously said they could keep law even before they heard its contents in Exo 19
‘Even before what God says , we can do it ‘ – this is what it says in Hebrew
Man likes law because they want some glory !
Law of the Hebrew servant
Exo 21:1 – 6 – judgements – mitzpah (?) in Hebrew – very strange , this first judgement comes straight after 10 commandments
2 “If you buy a Hebrew servant, he is to serve you for six years. But in the seventh year, he shall go free, without paying anything. 3 If he comes alone, he is to go free alone; but if he has a wife when he comes, she is to go with him. 4 If his master gives him a wife and she bears him sons or daughters, the woman and her children shall belong to her master, and only the man shall go free.
5 “But if the servant declares, ‘I love my master and my wife and children and do not want to go free,’ 6 then his master must take him before the judges.[a] He shall take him to the door or the doorpost and pierce his ear with an awl. Then he will be his servant for life.
7 “If a man sells his daughter as a servant, she is not to go free as male servants do. 8 If she does not please the master who has selected her for himself,[b] he must let her be redeemed. He has no right to sell her to foreigners, because he has broken faith with her. 9 If he selects her for his son, he must grant her the rights of a daughter. 10 If he marries another woman, he must not deprive the first one of her food, clothing and marital rights. 11 If he does not provide her with these three things, she is to go free, without any payment of money.”
V3 if servant comes in by himself, he will go out by himself
Every Sunday we choose to serve
Like here , inside is service, but outside is freedom , but they choose to stay because of family
Jesus came to serve: Mark 10:45
Mark 1 : full of action words like “immediately ” — words of action for the divine servant — Jesus
Pierced ear is mark that servant forever
Psalm 40:6-7 niv (speaking of Jesus)
Sacrifice and offering of OT you have not desired
- my ears you have pierced
6 Sacrifice and offering you did not desire—
but my ears you have opened[c]—
burnt offerings and sin offerings[d] you did not require.
7 Then I said, “Here I am, I have come—
it is written about me in the scroll.[e]
8 I desire to do your will, my God;
your law is within my heart.”
The first place the blood touches is ear !
Ditto also when leper cleansed !
Ear in hebrahism is whole body
Heb 10:5-12
He is quoting Greek version : LXX
V 5 : quoting from LXX of psalm 40
5 Therefore, when Christ came into the world, he said:
“Sacrifice and offering you did not desire,
but a body you prepared for me;
6 with burnt offerings and sin offerings
you were not pleased.
7 Then I said, ‘Here I am—it is written about me in the scroll—
I have come to do your will, my God.’”[a]
8 First he said, “Sacrifices and offerings, burnt offerings and sin offerings you did not desire, nor were you pleased with them”—though they were offered in accordance with the law. 9 Then he said, “Here I am, I have come to do your will.” He sets aside the first to establish the second. 10 And by that will, we have been made holy through the sacrifice of the body of Jesus Christ once for all.
Holy Spirit is grieved when you have no heart for God’s son. Bible becomes a closed book . Because of all the distractions , folks no heart of Jesus despite Holy Sprit being so ready to show pictures of Jesus in his photo album ( bible ) and pretty soon He closes the book because no interest.
rev 4: 6 – 7
In the center, around the throne, were four living creatures, and they were covered with eyes, in front and in back. 7 The first living creature was like a lion, the second was like an ox, the third had a face like a man, the fourth was like a flying eagle.
Jesus is always in the midst , in the centre of your lives.
Each animal symbolizes a different facet of Jesus and interesting depicts Matthew (lion) Mark (ox) , Luke (man) and John (eagle) in that canonical order arranged in today’s bible ! But revelation written before bible canonized !
Meditate on Jesus in all these phases and you shall proposer as a leader .
Eagle – vision and foresight , discernment, prophetic insight
Ox – work and service , untiringly , health and strength (despite age)
Man – the perfect man – the intelligence and sympathies of a man
Lion – kingly , leader , noble
Beholding the FULL Jesus will make you complete
Israel called ‘virgin daughter of israel ‘ , and Matthew written to Jews , so parable of virgins is about Israel (not church) and half of Israel will be saved .
During transfiguration , scholars felt that Jesus could have come home there and then . especially in light of exo 21:6 law – He can go free. As people majority had rejected them and He had finished his duty and call
But Jesus did what Hebrew servant (exo 21:6-7) said : I love my corporate church (wife) and choose to remain !
You cannot give to Jesus without it being multiplied back !
Like how lost time (fishing all night ) was redeemed by Jesus and fishes magnetized to Peter’s nets
Exo 21 V 6 : doorpost – Jesus was crucified at doorpost of Jersusalem
Doorpost is mezzuzah
Exo 12:7 mezzuzah was first mentioned in night of Passover
7And they shall take of the blood, and strike it on the two side posts and on the upper door post of the houses, wherein they shall eat it.

We thus know that Jesus is that Hebrew servant !
Jesus wants to be servant to you forever !
Rev 1:12 – 13 Jesus still serving NOW (see AMP version) – breast speaks of love and golden girdle on this !
‘girdle of gold about his breast ‘ – AMP
Girdle is to tighten long flowing robes so that it does not get in the way of service and work
Not service is stamped with divinity — GOLD
Most girdles on waist but Jesus girdle on breast of love
If Jesus does not wash our feet then ‘no part with him’ — Jesus to Peter
[distinguish : no part in Him - that is salvation . No part with him - refers to ministry - meta (Greek) ]
Jesus wash feet using linen or lention (Gk) girdle . Linen speaks of divine righteousness . That is Jesus ministry to remind us of our righteousness in Him
Luke 12:37 , when Jesus comes back he will make us sit down and serve us and we will eat
positive and positive repel . So when Jesus giving you must be posture to receive
Mary allowed Jesus to serve her and this pleased Him
Nothing wrong with service but must be done in rest . Jesus never rebuked Martha service but her attitude – she was careful and troubled about many things.
You can be under law – if you so conscious of your responsibilities and what to do — law conscious ie demand conscious
Law not mentioned there but in essence Martha was – law conscious
Grace is supply conscious
You wakeup in morning , you must be conscious that daily you have loaded me with benefits and you have amply supplied and provided for me
Don’t be theory in grace only and still demand conscious in reality !
col 1:29
29 To this end I strenuously contend with all the energy Christ so powerfully works in me.
If no flow in a particular matter , stop and ask Jesus the divine servant . Maybe he will tell you to stop and spend time with family or do the matter another time
Then the matter somehow gets resolved or , when sharing Jesus , somehow divine ideas drop to help you resolve matter quickly where no breakthrough before
Move in rhythms of grace
Don’t worry about tomorrow
Auto immune disease – arises when body attacks itself when body is not at rest
Don’t wake up feeling naked and destitute and you have to save the world ! Wake up seeing yourself abundantly supplied in Jesus
When we sleep at night, God works the night shift and prepares for us
He gives to his beloved sleep , can also be understood as He gives to his beloved in his sleep. Eg Solomon who received during sleep
If there is a hard work, there is an energizing from Christ within – col 1:29
You can plan ahead but plan with consciousness that Jesus supplies you with grace, and don’t worry !
Live for today as all the Grace is there for today !
Hebrew servant wife now sees her husband sleeping soundly beside her every night , knowing he could have gone free , but he chose to pierce his ears , and to stay with her and the family forever. A servant eternally. This is LOVE !
The son of God loved us and gave himself for me.
See Jesus ! Your life becomes a constant life of thanksgiving when you do
