john 1:17
1st miracle that Jesus did comes with celebration and happiness!
unearned, undeserved, unmerited favor
the pharisees brought the law down. God gave the law is not for human to obey. it’s for humans to come to an end of themselves and see the need that they need God for everything and anything.
the leper did not doubt Jesus’ could but he doubted that Jesus would. he’s wrong coz Jesus did the ‘would’ to heal him.
romans 6:14
sickness, poverty would not have dominion over us as long as we are under grace
under law, one has to repent first b4 he/she can receive the blessings but under grace, God bless us first and He leads us to repentance coz He lets us see and receive His goodness & blessigs that our hearts will change and soften.
2 cor 3:9
from egypt to mt sinai – God’s grace is in super abundance
no one died during the journey although the ppl murmured and complained
God brought forth fresh demonstrations of supply and provision
God made a way and provided for the ppl is not becoz of the ppl but it’s based on Jesus.
the moment man presume his own strength and obedience, God withdrew His blessings and protection coz they claimed that they can obey all the laws.
2 cor 3:6-7
the ministry of death is from the only ones that were engraved on stones. that is the LAW.
1st pentecost : 3000 ppl died (50 days aft the exodus from
Egypt)
2nd pentecost : 3000 ppl saved (when the holy spirit came down to the disciples)
the law is holy but it can’t make us holy
the bible states v clearly that the strength of sin is the law.
muz receive his accusations before he can destroy us
God nailed the law to the cross and having disarm the principalities of the darkness
God calls Abraham His friend and that happened before th law was given.
under grace, which comes first? repentance or blessings?
take the story of Peter fishing all nite long and caught no fish until Jesus told him to cast the net and got a boat-sinking load of fish.
under grace, it makes ppl open up and extend their generousity
Jesus came a long way for us! we dun hv to make any restitution for any wrongs that we have done. God’s blessings will hit us first and it is His blessings that will make our hearts turn away from sins.
when we take from Jesus, we will reinvigorate Jesus!
take more from God, take our healing, take our provision, take our blessings from Him!
every time we take from Jesus, He will be invigorated and refreshed!
mercy rejoices over judgement – grace is higher than the law!
Jesus did not condemn the woman and He empowered her to sin no more and He told the Father to put that sin on his acct that He will pay for it in his body at the cross!
it is God’s holiness that He cannot punish the same sin twice.
ppl is sick becoz of condemnation and they always condemn themselves and the body will react to the condemnation.
