There is that capacity to receive where Jesus is appreciated . In hometown , not much miracles as not appreciated much. But well received in other places, and miracles flowed. So there is that capacity to receive where the pastor is Appreciated

First service he preached in lakewood was on 31 Oct – reformation day. Unplanned that he preached on this important date . Significant for USA . Halloween today now perverts this hallowed date where Martin Luther started the reformation

Moses was hidden 3 months and Elizabeth announced her baby on 6 months

So pastor felt that he should hold back on announcement of his wife’s child until after first trimester

So this fell on his trip to USA and the TBN people wanted Wendy to be by his side in the tv studio and she looked wonderfully expectant , so pastor announced on TBN the pregnancy

Those who lie and cheat , and manipulate are those who feel they don’t have the favor of God

If God gives favor no man can take away, so we rest easy and don’t behave like the world who do not have integrity and manipulate

What ever God needs us to know we know. Life of rest . Not in rat race.

This is not a personality cult . we know it is all about Jesus

we are finite and cannot reach God but infinite God reaches man

Righteousness cannot be attained but can be obtained through Jesus

John – full of grace and truth John 1:14 : Word becomes Flesh

Even love comes from Grace

If God does not show grace , we will never experience love

Devil tries to redefine ‘grace’ to become a new form of law and calls it empowerment and divine influence . Yes, Grace produces empowerment and divine influence but it’s core definition is unmerited favor.

‘grace and truth ‘ is true grace

Analogy : we say buttered bread not butter and bread

Grace and truth is same thing in Jesus

V 6 : grace for grace ( Gk : for : anti – in place of )

Grace encompasses the whole character of God

Abundance – to rise in waves ( Latin root )

Ab and eunderai ( Latin – ?) – abundance

When you have used up one grace another comes

God separates the law from ‘grace and truth’

rom 11:6

2 Cor 9:8

We want all grace to abound to us !

The more we experience God’s grace the more we love God

The context of 2 Cor 9 was in context of money

“is able” is in italics !

He is actually WILLING ! There is no contingency in this verse . It is present tense

Able – is Gk – dynotos (same related word as dunamis) – present active indicative tense ( the mood of reality happening right now )

God right now is dynamiting all grace to us

And God is continuously doing this now. Correct in the context so we can be a cheerful giver

bob fits remarks that he felt he did not deserve the beautiful sunset at beach. Wife said ‘since when do we deserve anything from God ‘ ? Grace is unmerited and undeserved favor From God

But why some of us say we don’t see the manifestation ?

Faith substantiates what is already there – the invisible

Open up spiritual eyes to see what is already there. Heb 11. Thank the father for the healing and the provision already there

If visible , not eternal

Invisible is eternal

Healing , provision already there

Faith is not creating what is not there

God is already enabling all grace to us

Jesus said – stretch forth your hand – he did not see the withered hand of the man

Luke 15:28 – 32 ( elder son in prodigal son story )

You can tell the level of grace in a person’s life by how thankful he is.

It was meet to be make merry and be happy in the father ‘s house

The older boy was law conscious and was proud and lied as he said he never transgressed law . Law makes you proud

Gives wrong impression of the father

Older bro say you never gave me money to make merry with friends NOT father . Older bro had no heart for father

Poverty mentality therefore he had hard thoughts towards the father

Matt 25:24

To those who have , more will be given

More what ? More revelation that God is good and rewarder

Don’t see God as hard man as that man with one talent

How you see God will affect how you receive God’s blessings

Leaders of church and family don’t want their people to see them as hard, if not , the people become wrongly performance conscious towards leader

If wrong impression they resent you and you can feel (though unintended) that you had extended pressure on them (when you did not in first place) when they failed

Parent if hard may have kids who do the job but not heart transformed

back to Luke 15:31

ALL that I have is yours (present tense in Gk ) and father used affectionate term in Gk for ‘child ‘ to older bro.

Not just the goat !

All things was given to the old bro but how he received from father was affected by his wrong attitude

Initial tears in heaven because you did not realize how good God is and you settled for less ! Than God wipe away tears . No tears in heaven

eph 3:20

Now to him who is able to do exceedingly above all that …

Eph 3:20 ” now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us,

‘works’ is present tense

Energeo and dunamis : 2 power words here

Power ( dynamis ) ; worketh ( energeo )

When you come church you gotta move ! Older bro heard dancing AND music in house of God! Grow young and use it. What you don’t use you lose.

Don’t have older bro syndrome . Get excited and shout and dance when you hear God ‘s word . Be excited like the young folks. If you don’t you grow old fast !

And God is continuously enabling all grace

So very important to think big when you approach God ! If you think nothing , God still exceeds the nothing when he gives above.

Ephesians 3:20 verse pyramid

If we know that Grace is continuously flowing to us , we will be generous to people

What are these needs amongst so much Grace ? Jesus saw abundance in the 5 loves and fishes as contrasted with his disciples (eg Andrew ‘what are they among so many ‘ needs. ) but in truth The grace is greater than the needs. Jesus saw this truth

Let’s have eyes to see and look to heaven and give thanks like Jesus

Andrew never gave thanks .

What are all these needs amongst so much needs.

Bible makes mention that Jesus gave Thanks here. Holy spirit so pleased – see John 6:23

John 6:23 There came other small boats from Tiberias near to the place where they ate the bread after the Lord had given thanks.

God was dynamiting all grace towards them for every work

Basket FULLs left over – all because someone saw so much grace

when you are full and conscious of this , you take pity of others in world and forgive traffic trangressions on the road

Father in heaven you are the one who has caused and powered all grace and favor to abound to me continuously and incessantly . You are enabling all grace to abound to me always in all times (good or bad) in all sufficiency for every good work ! You are able to do exceedingly above all things we ask or think !
