The verse Mk 9:27 sees Jesus lift up child. Do word search on this word. Jesus always lift up people.
Help yes! But don’t become friends with those who are persistently negative
See Nasb as mark 9:23 – Jesus is the one who believes and whose faith never waivers

Jesus was throwing back the question to the father
Believes – present active participle
The only one who was engaging in this Gk tense was Jesus ! Certainly not the disciples nor the father
